Rafael Jimenez-Duràn - Marta Prato

Rafael Jiménez-Durán joins the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. He brings with him prior experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the SSRC Digital Platforms Initiative and as a Researcher at the Bank of Mexico. Jiménez-Durán obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2022. His research primarily focuses on the field of applied microeconomics, with a particular interest in studying the economics of digital platforms and social media.

 

Marta Prato joins the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2022. Prior to joining Bocconi University, she worked as a Cowles Post-Doctoral fellow at Yale University. Marta's research interests encompass various areas including Macroeconomics, Economic Growth, Migration, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. In 2022, she participated in the Review of Economic Studies Tour, and in 2021, she was honored with the EEA and Unicredit Job Market Best Paper Award.
